Russian forces continue to strike Ukraine's energy infrastructure, logistics, heating, and water supplies, having rejected de-escalation. Ukraine has already determined its next responses to the attacks, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
"Our power plants, energy grids, heating infrastructure, water supply facilities, and civilian logistics are all under constant attack by 'shaheds' and missiles," the head of state emphasized.
The president noted that the aggressor country had rejected de-escalation measures, had not changed the nature of its aggressive actions, and was counting on further strikes.
"We have determined our next responses," Zelenskyy stressed.
He added that the operation against Russia's oil refining industry is continuing in response to Russian strikes on Ukraine's energy facilities.
"Our long-range sanctions, our mid-range strikes, as well as all the pressure our partners are putting on Russia over this war – these are what create an incentive for real negotiations," the president stated.
The head of state noted that the experience of the humanitarian operation in Oleshky showed that the attacks could stop if the Russian leader made such a decision.
Overnight, drones attacked the Afipsky oil refinery in Russia's Krasnodar region. The strike caused a fire at the facility, with a thick column of smoke rising above the industrial area.
In addition, on the night of November 5, Ukraine's Defense Forces struck several Russian military facilities located in temporarily occupied territories.
