Ukraine has successfully managed, on its own, to restore the grain corridor through the Black Sea, states Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine, Olha Stefanishyna.

"You probably know that Ukraine has secured the grain corridor in the Black Sea on its own, not through an agreement between Turkey, the UN, and Russia. So, we have secured the grain corridor ourselves, and grain vessels are now free," noted Stefanishyna.

She added that the United Kingdom has organized a fund to ensure the functioning of the grain corridor.

"So, it's done. We have protected the Black Sea. And we are moving forward. It will be a gradual process. But I think there is no other way to move forward," stated the Vice Prime Minister.

Export of Ukrainian grain

Grain exports from Ukraine were partially disrupted. Russia withdrew from the 'grain agreement' and began shelling Ukrainian grain ports and vessels. As a result, grain exports from Ukraine decreased.

Ukraine has developed an alternative route for grain exports that does not require coordination with Russia. The grain corridor is used to transport agricultural products and other goods.

Earlier, we reported that a dry port will be created in Zakarpattia to help Ukraine export agricultural products.

It has also been revealed that the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba, met with his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan in Berlin. The ministers discussed grain exports to global markets.
