Ukraine faces same information warfare failures as Israel - Ukraine’s Chief Rabbi

Ukraine does not actively use the potential of the so-called religious diplomacy, in particular in working with religious communities in the United States. And this could strengthen its position in the information war, says Moshe Reuven Azman, Chief Rabbi of Kyiv and Ukraine.
According to him, a few years ago, he emphasized the need to involve not only diplomats and politicians but also religious leaders in foreign communication. However, this line is still used too little.
"Look, Ukraine, like Israel, is perhaps partially losing the information war. It is winning globally, but in this audience, it is losing," Azman said.
According to him, like Israel, Ukraine is focused on armed resistance, so sometimes it lacks the energy and time for the information front.
"Israel, for example, often just waves it off and says: We won’t even waste time on that," he noted.
At the same time, the rabbi emphasized that this cannot be neglected.
"But this needs to be done; this shouldn’t be neglected. And there's a lot of work here: people are divided into the brainwashed and those who don't know what they're doing," Azman added.
The chief rabbi of Kyiv also explained why some American voters, including Donald Trump's supporters, are skeptical of Ukraine. According to him, the reason lies not in sympathy for Russia, but in the political context within the United States.
