Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence (HUR) has published information on dozens of foreign-made technological devices used by Russian enterprises to manufacture missiles, according to Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence.
According to the intelligence service, waterjet cutting systems produced by the Czech manufacturer PTV are used by Russian companies involved in the production of shipborne and coastal radar stations, equipment for Russia’s Strategic Missile Forces, and security systems for military facilities.
In addition, intelligence officers identified a JVM-360LS CNC milling machine manufactured by the US company JET Tools, used by a manufacturer of components for Kh-101 cruise missiles.
It was also revealed that a Chinese TAYU TY-200S injection molding machine is being used by a Russian manufacturer of guidance systems, targeting equipment, and all-weather reconnaissance systems.
Russian defense industry enterprises are actively using leasing schemes to obtain foreign equipment instead of purchasing it directly. This practice sometimes allows them to conceal the end user and serves as a tool for circumventing sanctions.
“To prevent their technologies from being used to support war and destabilizing actions, global equipment manufacturers should introduce continuous tracking and monitoring of where their products are located,” Ukraine’s intelligence agency said.
Earlier, Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence published an interactive diagram detailing the components and electronic parts used in the Geran-2 unmanned aerial vehicle, E-series, which is equipped with a man-portable air defense system.
Previously, HUR experts also released a 3D model of Russia’s Orion UAV and disclosed information about 43 enterprises involved in its production.
It was also reported earlier that Russia’s turbojet-powered Shahed drone contains components originating from the United States, China, Switzerland, and other countries.
