Ukraine denies Russian fake about strike on Ukrainian Armed Forces headquarters in Odesa
Russian media are spreading information that the Russian military launched a missile attack on the headquarters of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Odesa on the night of May 1. However, this is another fake by Russian propagandists, states the Center for Strategic Communications and Information Security (SPRAVDI).
According to the Center, Russian troops launched three Iskander-M missiles at residential areas of the city.
As a result of the attack, three people were killed and residential and administrative buildings, as well as a medical and educational institution, were damaged.
“This strike on civilians in Odesa is another war crime of the Russian army,” SPRAVDI noted.
Missile attack on Odesa on May 1
On the night of May 1, Russian troops once again attacked Odesa with ballistic missiles. Three people were killed and three were wounded in the attack. There is also damage to civilian infrastructure in Odesa.
Russian forces damaged the office of the Ukrainian Parliamentary Commissioner for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets during the shelling of Odesa.
According to the spokesman for the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Illia Yevlash, Russian forces used three Iskander-M ballistic missiles for the strike.
