The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense has confirmed strikes on several targets in Moscow and the Moscow region, including an oil refinery, an oil depot, and microelectronics manufacturing facilities.

The ministry said that Moscow and the region had suffered one of the largest-scale attacks since the start of the full-scale war.

“The war is returning to where it came from,” the Ministry of Defense noted.

The Defense Forces struck the Moscow Oil Refinery, the Solnechnogorsk Oil Depot, and several enterprises involved in microelectronics production for the first time.

“Previously, these facilities were protected by a massive amount of air defense systems. But something strange happened. God, bomb Russia,” the Ministry of Defense added.

What other targets were hit?

Russian Telegram channels and OSINT projects reported that the Elma technology park and the Angstrem enterprise in Zelenograd — one of the centers of Russian microelectronics — were hit.

OSINT channels also reported a strike on the Raduga machine-building design bureau in the Moscow region. The company specializes in the development of cruise missiles and other missile technology.

Amid the massive drone attack, operations at Moscow’s Sheremetyevo Airport were temporarily suspended. Smoke and fires were also reported near the airport.
