March figures for the number of combat sorties flown by interceptor drones and targets destroyed rose by nearly 55% compared to February, according to Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi.

"Since the beginning of spring, our drone interceptors have already destroyed over 2,300 Russian aerial targets. Ukrainian-made drones have proven to be the most effective," he emphasizes.

At the same time, he states that Ukraine needs to further increase the number of interceptor drones, particularly those equipped with automatic guidance systems.

"Russia is not stopping its attacks. On the contrary, it is increasing production, modernizing its drones, and refining their use," Syrskyi notes.

According to him, since early March, Ukrainian helicopters have destroyed 379 Russian attack drones. The general adds that Russian targets are also effectively destroyed by anti-aircraft missile forces, mobile fire groups, and separate anti-aircraft machine gun battalions.

"We are paying special attention to the implementation of artificial intelligence and increasing the level of automation in the use of air defense systems, both for interceptor drones and for aviation and ground-based firepower," says the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The Sternenko Community Charitable Foundation and Dyki Shershni manufacturer announced the implementation of remote control for Sting interceptors, which have already successfully passed their first tests.

The head of the Brave1 defense cluster announced the start of sales of the X1 Jet and X2 Jet drones on the marketplace. He highlighted their unique capabilities and record-breaking speed among Ukrainian drones.

Earlier this month, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine approved the new Ukrainian JEDI Shahed Hunter interceptor drone for use. It is capable of automatically detecting and destroying Russian drones.
