Ukraine's MoD announces new Ramstein meeting: When it might take place
The next meeting in the Ramstein format may take place as early as February. Partner countries have already agreed on this meeting, announces Ukraine's Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, according to Radio Svoboda.
Umerov emphasized that Ukraine seeks for the United States to maintain and strengthen its presence in international support formats.
"We want the US to remain and strengthen its presence. There are various formats, as you know. We have created NSATU (a format under NATO auspices - ed.), and several European countries want to lead or co-lead this, as it is being done jointly with Ukraine," he stressed.
The minister also assured that there are no issues with preparing for the next Ramstein meeting.
"I currently see no problems because we have already agreed on the next Ramstein," he said.

Meanwhile, the head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Foreign Policy and Interparliamentary Cooperation, Oleksandr Merezhko, expressed hope for continued meetings in the Ramstein format, arguing that it makes no sense to dismantle something that yields results.
