“This is the second reported successful targeting of Russian S-400 air defense systems by Ukrainian Armed Forces in November, following the destruction of a S-400 air defense system in Kursk Oblast on 23 November 2024,” the British Ministry of Defense said.

Ukrainian Armed Forces have conducted large-scale strikes on Russian bases in Crimea. According to Forbes, one of the most diverse combinations of ammunition was used during the shelling on November 29. This could have included Storm Shadow cruise missiles, S-200 anti-aircraft missile systems converted into long-range surface-to-surface weapons, attack drones from the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine, and ballistic missiles of an unspecified type.

In addition, on the night of November 24, the Ukrainian Defense Forces attacked a regiment of Russian missile forces in the Kursk region. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a successful hit was recorded on the radar station of the S-400 anti-aircraft missile system.
