UK reacts to Zelenskyy’s statement about its components in Russian drones and missiles

The UK government stated that it is making every effort to stop British companies from exporting components for weapons production to Russia, Sky News informs.
A spokesperson for the UK government claims that London takes reports of the export of its goods to Russia "incredibly seriously."
"We have banned the export of thousands of goods to Russia, including every battlefield item Ukraine has brought to our attention, and together with our international partners, have implemented the most severe package of sanctions ever imposed on a major economy,” he said.
The spokesperson added that any British company found to have committed such an offense could face criminal liability or significant financial penalties.
Statement from Zelenskyy
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that during the massive combined strike on Ukraine on the night of October 5, Russia used 549 weapons containing 102,785 foreign-made components.
These components came from companies in the United States, China, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, Germany, Switzerland, Japan, South Korea, and the Netherlands.
Zelenskyy specified that the launched attack drones contained approximately 100,688 foreign components, Iskanders – around 1,500, Kinzhal – 192, and Kalibr – 405.
"Companies in the United States manufacture converters for Kh-101 missiles and Shahed/Geran-type drones, sensors for those UAVs and for Kinzhal missiles, analog-to-digital converters for drones and missiles, and microelectronics for missiles," the president said.
He also emphasized that at least 50 microelectronic components in each Shahed drone are made in China and Taiwan.
Microcontrollers for UAVs are produced in Switzerland, microcomputers for flight control – in the United Kingdom, optoisolators for cruise missiles – in Japan, and switching connectors – in Germany.
Additionally, Russia uses processors from the Netherlands and servomotors and bearings manufactured in South Korea.
