UK Prime Minister to discuss Storm Shadow missile strikes on Russia with Zelenskyy
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer plans to discuss the situation at the front with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. In particular, they will raise the issue of strikes by Storm Shadow missiles against Russia, according to The Guardian.
It is worth noting that Keir Starmer's arrival at the United Nations General Assembly in New York was his third visit to the United States in the last three months.
When asked about when a decision will be made regarding the use of Storm Shadow missiles, supplied by the UK, on Russian territory, Starmer said that a range of issues will be discussed first.
"We will have discussions about a whole range of issues, and we will listen carefully to what President Zelenskyy’s got to say, and that’s what’s going to happen in the next few days," he said.
He also noted that the discussions would not be about “sole issue like long-range missiles” but a “strategic, overarching route for Ukraine to find a way through this and succeed against Russian aggression”.
Yesterday we wrote that US President Joe Biden will visit Germany in October. During his visit, Berlin plans to invite the leaders of France and Britain to discuss support for Ukraine.
