In the UK's snap election for the House of Commons, according to exit polls, Labour is winning convincingly with a majority of 170 seats. Sir Keir Starmer could become the new Prime Minister instead of Rishi Sunak, reports BBC.

According to exit polls from BBC, ITV, and Sky, Conservatives are expected to hold only 131 seats in Parliament, marking the lowest post-war tally in British history.
Liberal Democrats are anticipated to secure third place with 61 seats.
Meanwhile, Labour Party representatives are set to lead with 410 members in Parliament.

The Scottish National Party is projected to reduce to 10 seats, while Reform UK is expected to gain 13 seats.
The Green Party of England and Wales is likely to double its number of seats to 2. Plaid Cymru will secure 4 seats. Other parties, according to forecasts, will obtain 19 seats.
Reaction of the Liberal Democrats and Conservatives
The Liberal Democrats consider these election results to be their best in a century. This sentiment was expressed by the leader of the Liberal Democrats, Ed Davey, in response to the exit poll data.
"It looks like we have gained more seats than in any general election in the last 100 years," he said, adding that there is still a long way ahead, but "I am so proud of our party."
Meanwhile, Conservative Party Minister of Labour and Pensions, Mel Stride, told BBC Radio 4 that this is a very difficult moment for the Conservatives.
