British Foreign Secretary David Lammy is considering a trip to China. However, no decision has been made yet, and no dates have been set, according to Bloomberg.

According to anonymous sources cited by the agency, Lammy is considering the possibility of a visit to China as part of the new Labour government's efforts to change the UK's relationship with Beijing.

If Lammy does travel to China, it will be only the second trip by a British Foreign Secretary in the past six years.

Anonymous sources noted that plans for this trip are not yet finalized, and no dates have been set.

Before becoming Prime Minister, Keir Starmer stated that his government would conduct what he called an "audit" of UK-China relations as “one of the first things" they would do.

Last month, George Robertson, the head of the UK's strategic defense review, stated that China and Russia pose a deadly threat to the UK and NATO.

Meanwhile, in March of this year, the media reported that the UK government was considering reducing the number of Chinese citizens due to the threat of espionage from Beijing.
