UK Defense Minister: 'Putin is stepping up his invasion'
Russian dictator Vladimir Putin is intensifying his invasion, senselessly sending more Russians to their death than ever before since the beginning of the war. This was stated by the UK Defense Minister Grant Shapps.
"Putin is stepping up his invasion - senselessly sending more Russians to die than at any time since the war began. Ukrainian bravery and Western support is holding back their advance, but we cannot be complacent," he said.
The minister emphasized that Ukraine needs unwavering support to fight and prevail.
UK's assistance to Ukraine
Earlier, UK Defense Minister Grant Shapps said that London would provide Ukraine with more military assistance and would unite allies to provide everything necessary for victory in the war.
Shapps also announced a new package of military aid to Ukraine at the Ramstein meeting in early October. The package is valued at $123 million.
