U.S. deploys F-16 squadron to the Middle East
The United States has deployed a squadron of F-16 fighter jets to the Middle East to bolster its military presence in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict region, according to the U.S. Central Command.
"The 119th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft have arrived in the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility to bolster U.S. posture to deter further aggression," the statement said.

According to U.S. standards, a squadron consists of 12 aircraft.
Biden administration recently sent a Marine Corps general and several officers to Israel to assist the Israeli military in the Gaza operation.
Hamas attack on Israel
On October 7, Hamas terrorists invaded Israeli territory, killing and kidnapping both military and civilians.
In response, the Israel Defense Forces initiated an operation against the militants. It is expected that troops will be deployed to the Gaza Strip as part of this operation.
Furthermore, Israel's Defense Minister, Yoav Gallant, says that his country plans a deadly attack on the Gaza Strip.
