According to him, the US will resume military operations if it fails to reach a peace agreement with Iran.
Two-week ceasefire between the US and Iran
It should be recalled that earlier, Trump said he had agreed to a two-week ceasefire with Iran. During this period, a final deal is expected to be completed.
He explained that the decision was made because the United States had already “accomplished and exceeded all military objectives” and had made progress toward a final agreement on long-term peace with Iran and stability in the Middle East.
The US president also made it clear that Washington will play a role in the Strait of Hormuz.
According to him, “there will be a lot of positive developments and a lot of money will be made.”
In addition, Trump stated that the United States had achieved a “total and completevictory” following the agreement with Iran on a two-week ceasefire.
At the same time, according to CNN, Iran’s Supreme National Security Council also declared “victory” amid the ceasefire.
