TV star Pat Finn from 'Friends' passes away at 60

Renowned American actor Pat Finn, star of a popular TV series, has died. The performer, known for roles in Friends, Seinfeld, and It’s Always Sunny, passed away at the age of 60 at his home in Los Angeles, according to a post on his Instagram page.

According to an official statement from his family, Finn had been undergoing treatment for cancer since 2022. Despite his serious illness, the actor tried to live life to the fullest.
''Pat never met a stranger– only friends he didn't know yet. He lived his life fully - with joy and exuberance,'' his family said.
Career: from Friends to The Middle
Finn’s television career began in 1995. He became memorable to audiences for his appearances in some of the most iconic sitcoms of the late 1990s and early 2000s, including Friends, where he played Dr. Roger, Monica Geller's partner.

He was also a star of the series Seinfeld, playing Joe Mayo, a party host who enjoyed giving his guests cumbersome tasks, and The Middle, where he portrayed Bill Norwood, the Heck family’s neighbor.
In addition, Finn appeared in popular TV shows such as Marvin Marvin, That ’70s Show, and King of Queens, as well as in films including It’s Complicated, I Love You, Beth Cooper, and others.

Finn was not only a talented comedian and master of improvisation, but also a teacher. He worked as an adjunct professor at the University of Colorado and was part of the comedy troupe Beer Shark Mice. Colleagues and students remember him as an incredibly kind, positive, and sincere person.
He is survived by his wife Donna, three children, and his parents and siblings.
