In Turkiye, the first tests of the new Kemankes 2 Mini Smart cruise missile, which can be launched from a pickup truck, were conducted, according to Baykar's CEO, Selçuk Bayraktar.

According to the published video, the missile was accelerated using a car and launched on the move. It is reported that the new missile has a range of over 200 km.

Interestingly, developers used an off-road vehicle as a platform for the test launch, on which special mounts were installed for the missile. After accelerating to the required speed, the Kemankes 2 missile took off into the air.

It is reported that the cruise missile can stay in the air for about an hour, and it can maneuver thanks to its jet engine. The flight range of the Kemankes 2 is over 200 kilometers, and its high accuracy, as claimed, will allow it to destroy targets even in complex weather conditions, identifying them through an optical guidance system with artificial intelligence.

Additionally, thanks to new electronic countermeasure technologies, the missile is resistant to various electronic disruptions, which increases the overall effectiveness of this weapon system.

Bayraktar in Ukraine

Baykar is the manufacturer of the Bayraktar drones, which Ukraine has been actively using since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion. After close cooperation with the Ukrainian government and allies, the Turkish drone manufacturer provided several drones to the Ukrainian military free of charge.

Furthermore, Baykar's director has decided to build a factory in Ukraine. He has already purchased land in Ukraine for the construction of a factory for the production of Bayraktar drones.
