US President Donald Trump calls on gas station owners to lower prices immediately. He warns that if they refuse, they will face big problems.

"Gasoline Retailers must get their Prices down, IMMEDIATELY! They're too high considering that Oil is now at $68 a Barrel, and heading south," he says.

According to the President, retailers must respond quickly to this statement and do what they think is right, lower prices for the sake of the American people.

"If Retailers don't do this, big problems lie ahead!" Trump warns.

The President also cites a target price that retailers should aim for, about $2.50 per gallon, which is roughly 3.8 liters of fuel.

In early May, the average price of gasoline in the US exceeded $4.50 per gallon, the highest level since July 2022.

Following the announcement of a preliminary peace agreement between the US and Iran, prices began to fall and dropped below the psychological threshold of $4 per gallon, although they remain nearly a dollar higher than a year ago.

At the same time, global oil prices plummeted after shipping resumed through the Strait of Hormuz.

According to the latest data, oil prices have almost returned to the level they were at before the war in Iran began.
