US President Donald Trump wants to end Russia's war against Ukraine this year. However, this needs to be done not only quickly but also fairly and securely for Ukraine, states Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during his speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos.

Zelenskyy noted that Ukraine has good relations with Trump.

"But we are in such a pragmatic time, and it is very important for us that the excessive voices, which sometimes around Trump spread disinformation or pro-Russian positions, are minimized, it is very important for us that Europe is loud, and that there are more voices around Trump so that he clearly understands the details and risks that may arise in the future, and very quickly," the president emphasized.

He shared that during his conversation with Trump, the American president stated that he would do everything possible to end the war in Ukraine this year.

"I told him that we are your partner... We want to end the war this year, but not just quickly, but fairly and securely for us... We will do everything for that," Zelenskyy added.
