US leader Donald Trump wants Ukraine and Russia to reach a peace agreement by the end of this year, CNN informs.
The outlet’s sources reported that the US president hopes to accelerate the timeline for ending the full-scale war in Ukraine. They also recalled Trump’s remark that the conflict "will be easy to resolve."

US peace plan
Trump’s peace plan consists of 28 points developed by US President Trump’s special envoy, Steve Witkoff. It is believed that Russia was involved in drafting the document — some strange phrases in the plan point to this, and most of the points are categorically unacceptable for Ukraine.
Today, November 21, Sky News sources reported that Zelenskyy and Trump will hold a phone conversation about the plan next week.
On the evening of Friday, November 21, Volodymyr Zelenskyy addressed the nation regarding the US peace plan. He emphasized that Ukraine may now face a very difficult choice and that this is one of the hardest moments in its history.
European leaders have already stated that the US peace plan is a "capitulation of Ukraine," as it contains no real concessions from Russia. Instead, European leaders are preparing their own version of a peace plan.
