The United States will destroy Iran if it dares to escalate the war in the Middle East again, US President Donald Trump warned, according to Fox News.
According to the head of the White House, he is the last person to trust Iran.
The American leader complained to journalists that Tehran had deceived him many times.
"I don't trust Iran. Why — are you saying I trust Iran!? I'm the last person to trust Iran. They've lied to me constantly," Trump claims.
In addition, he added that as of today, the United States has taken full control of the Strait of Hormuz.
Against this backdrop, he suggested that Iran could resort to a new escalation to hinder the US military.
"At some point, maybe they'll do something and then get blown away. But right now, we're in a very good position. We have a country that has been a bully of the Middle East for 50 years — really 51, if you think about it, right? We've been saying 47 for 4 years, and they're no longer the bully of the Middle East," Trump concluded.
Earlier, it was reported which scenarios for action regarding Iran the US president is considering.
In addition, Trump recently responded to Tehran's statements regarding compensation for the war.
