Trump states that war in Ukraine could be ended few years ago

US President Donald Trump stated that the war in Ukraine could have ended several years ago. According to him, civilization is dying, according to Trump's press conference at the White House.
"I am disappointed in what's happened. It's a war that would have never happened if I was president. And I've been watching these, you know, people being killed at levels that you've rarely seen not even close since World War II. This could have been settled very easily just a half .... a Half Baked negotiator could have settled this years ago," Trump said.
According to the US president, civilization is essentially dying, and a resolution could have been reached a long time ago.
On February 18, talks between US and Russian delegations took place in Saudi Arabia, lasting 4.5 hours.
After the meeting, US National Security Advisor Mike Waltz reminded that Trump clearly expressed his desire to end the war between Russia and Ukraine as quickly as possible.
