Trump told reporters that it is “possible” he would meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during his visit to Rome for the funeral of Pope Francis.
It is noted that Zelenskyy is one of many world leaders who will attend the pontiff's funeral tomorrow, April 26.
Death and funeral of the Pope
It was reported on the morning of April 21 that Pope Francis had passed away.
Later in the evening, the Vatican announced the official cause of the pontiff's death. According to their information, Francis suffered a stroke, after which he fell into a coma and passed away.
The funeral of Pope Francis will take place on Saturday, April 26, at 10:00 AM local time, 11:00 AM Kyiv time.
It is worth noting that many European leaders will attend the funeral. Among those who have confirmed their presence are US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
