US President Donald Trump made a sharp statement regarding the ceasefire between Israel and Iran, saying, "They don't know what the hell they’re doing," reports Sky News.

While speaking to reporters, Trump commented on the latest developments in the Middle East, saying that both sides are losing control of the situation.

"We basically have two countries that have been fighting so long and so hard that they don't know what the f*** they're doing," Trump said.

He emphasized his dissatisfaction with Israel's actions, claiming that they violated the ceasefire after an agreement had already been reached.

"As soon as we made the deal, they came out and they dropped a load of bombs. The likes of which I've never seen before. The biggest load that we've seen. I'm not happy with Israel," the US president stated.

Trump also spoke about the need to intervene.

"We have to have Israel to calm down because they went on a mission this morning," he said.

The US president declared his intention to intervene immediately.

"As soon as I get away from you, I'm going to see if I can stop it," he told journalists.

Israel-Iran War

Israel launched a military operation against Iran on June 13, striking targets linked to Tehran's nuclear program and missile capabilities.

On June 22, the United States joined the conflict, with American forces attacking Iran’s nuclear facilities in Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan.

In response, on June 23, Iran launched a strike on Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar — the largest US military base in the Middle East and the headquarters of US Central Command.

Despite the escalation, President Trump expressed his intention to achieve a ceasefire with the Iranian regime.

On June 24, Trump announced that a ceasefire had come into effect, but later Israel reported new rocket attacks launched from Iran.
