Donald Trump authorized military operations against more countries than any other US president in the modern era, according to Axios.

New fronts and Operation Epic Fury
According to the outlet, in 2025, Trump authorized more airstrikes than Joe Biden did during all four years of his presidency. The list of targets included countries that had never previously faced direct US attacks: Iran, Nigeria, and Venezuela.
The largest operation was Epic Fury — a joint US-Israeli campaign aimed at toppling the regime in Tehran. Trump launched it without Congressional approval after talks in Geneva failed.
Reaction within the US and MAGA
Trump’s decision sparked a split among his closest supporters.
Famous host Tucker Carlson called the attack on Iran "absolutely disgusting."
Even Vice President J.D. Vance and Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, who had previously portrayed Trump as an "antiwar candidate," are now forced to defend the aggressive campaign.
White House stance
The Trump administration insists that the president remains true to his principles and that force is merely a tool to achieve peace.
"President Trump is taking decisive action to eliminate major national security threats to the American people, which past presidents have talked about for 47 years, but only this president had the courage to accomplish," the White House press office said.
US-Israel operation against Iran
Recently, the US, together with Israel, launched an operation against Iran. They carried out a series of missile strikes on the country, resulting in the elimination of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
This came after American and Iranian diplomats failed to reach an agreement in talks on the nuclear deal.
