US First Lady Melania Trump will not take part in trilateral peace talks between Ukraine, the US, and Russia, but her main focus remains on saving children, US President Donald Trump said, according to Rapid Response 47.
During the discussion, the US leader said his wife would not join the trilateral peace talks.
At the same time, he described the idea as not the worst one he had heard.
"What she wants to do is save children, and that's her focus," the US president emphasized.
Donald Trump wants Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Russian leader Vladimir Putin to sign a peace deal at the G20 summit in Miami.
It has also emerged that Putin told US presidential envoy Steve Witkoff that Moscow was ready for a new round of talks with Washington and Kyiv.
In addition, the Kremlin has outlined possible timelines and the format for the diplomatic process.
In particular, talks on ending the war are planned for the first half of November in Abu Dhabi in a trilateral format.
