Trump on peace deal: From Ukraine's side, it is 'pretty much solved'

The US has practically settled the issue with Ukraine regarding a peace deal with Russia, following negotiations in Saudi Arabia, stated President Donald Trump, according to Sky News.
According to Trump, "we have a very complex situation solved on one side, pretty much solved" after yesterday’s talks with Ukrainian officials in Saudi Arabia.
He noted that the US and Ukraine discussed "a lot of the details" and added that Washington does not want "to be wasting time".
"People are dying... as we're sitting here, you probably had two people die on that very open field, it's dead flat, great farmland and it's dead flat. There's no protection, the only thing that stops a bullet is a human body and these bodies are young people," Trump said.
The American leader called this situation a “disaster”.
"I hope he (Putin - ed.) is going to have a ceasefire," he emphasized.
Ukraine has agreed to a ceasefire
Yesterday, March 11, Ukraine accepted the US proposal for a 30-day ceasefire with Russia. However, it remains unclear whether the truce will take effect, as Russia has yet to respond.
US President Donald Trump said that US officials would discuss a possible ceasefire with Russian officials during their visit to Russia.
