The US believes that countries that did not help it in the war against Iran should reimburse the related costs after the war ends, according to US President Donald Trump.

Trump demands compensation

Trump noted that oil continues to flow through the Strait of Hormuz. However, countries around the world that provided the United States with no assistance at all should reimburse its costs after the conflict with Iran ends.

"Oil is flowing through the Hormuz Strait. The countries of the world, which have been no help to us whatsoever, should, and will, reimburse the United States of America when this SCAM confligration is all over," he said.

Trump also believes that the US is doing far more for other countries than it does for itself.

"We are doing it much more for others than we are for ourselves, and we have been for generations!" he added.

Earlier, RBC-Ukraine reported that the US was open to considering peace talks with Iran, although Washington had not yet made a final decision on whether to take part.

In addition, Trump suggested that the US could remain in Iran after the war ends and take control of its oil, as it did in Venezuela.

Trump also said he had no regrets about starting the war against Iran. He also dismissed suggestions that some of his supporters were upset and demoralized by the war.
