Trump confident he can bring Putin and Zelenskyy together

US President Donald Trump is confident that he will bring Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy together in the same room, Trump said during a press conference.
"The next meeting will be with Zelenskyy and Putin, or Zelenskyy, Putin and me," Trump said.
The American president noted that he would be present at the meeting "if they need it."
"Ultimately, I'm going to put the two of them (Putin and Zelenskyy – ed.) in a room. I'll be there, or I won't be there, and I think it'll get solved," he added.
Trump and Putin meeting
Recently, US President Donald Trump said that he would meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska on August 15.
According to NBC, the White House is considering the option of inviting Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
However, today Trump said that Zelenskyy will not be at the meeting.
"I would say he could go, but he has been at many meetings, he has been at them for three and a half years, and nothing happened," the American president said.
