US President Donald Trump said that he received from the UN only a broken escalator and a teleprompter. As for himself, he claimed to have ended seven wars, he made this statement during his speech at the UN General Assembly.

Trump began his speech by saying that his teleprompter wasn’t working and also mentioned a broken escalator.

"(I) never even received a phone call from the United Nations offering to help in finalizing the deal. All I got from the United Nations was an escalator, that on the way up, stopped right in the middle. And then a teleprompter that didn’t work," Trump joked.

He also referred to his statement that he managed to end seven wars since the start of his second presidential term. Trump believes that no president or prime minister has "ever done anything like this."

"Today, just eight months into my administration, we are the hottest country anywhere in the world, and there is no other country even close," he said.

At the same time, Trump expressed regret that he had to do it instead of the UN.

"It's too bad that I had to do these things instead of the United Nations doing them, and sadly, in all cases, the United Nations did not even try to help in any of them," he added.

It later became known that the White House submitted Trump’s nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize, calling him a "president of peace."
