US President Donald Trump accused Democrats of causing the US stock market crash and of allegedly leading to a decline in Americans’ retirement savings.

According to Trump, the market had previously reached unprecedented levels, but now it has experienced its worst day ever. The Democrats are to blame for this problem, Trump says.

“The stock market suffered one of the worst days in history based on the results of the election. Such a sad thing to watch! It took so much work to get us to a level that no one has ever seen before, and then this. Your 401(k)s have, therefore, dropped. Remember, it wasn’t Republicans, it was Dumocrats,” the US president wrote.

Trump urged Americans not to be afraid, as they will soon become greater and stronger than ever before.

US elections

On November 3, special congressional elections were held in the US, following which the Democrats took control of the Senate and the House of Representatives.

After the Republicans’ defeat, Trump threatened to veto Democratic initiatives. But he later acknowledged the results and said he was ready to cooperate with the Democrats.

The White House also stated that the Democrats would not be able to undo Trump’s achievements. According to the statement, they are headed for failure.
