President-elect Donald Trump arrived in Paris on Saturday, December 7, marking his first overseas trip since the US elections, according to AFP and RFI.

Trump landed aboard a private jet this morning at Orly Airport in southern Paris. He is set to attend the reopening ceremony of Notre Dame Cathedral following the devastating fire in 2019. The event begins at 6:00 PM GMT (8:00 PM Kyiv time).

Trump will also meet with French President Emmanuel Macron at 3:00 PM GMT (5:00 PM Kyiv time) at the Élysée Palace for discussions.

Reports indicate that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will also attend the Notre Dame reopening in Paris. Zelenskyy is expected to hold individual meetings with both Macron and Trump.

Western media suggests the possibility of back-to-back one-on-one meetings, with Reuters noting that a trilateral meeting between Zelenskyy, Trump, and Macron is also on the table.

Zelenskyy and Trump met in September before the US elections, during which the Ukrainian president presented Trump with a plan for victory. After the election results were announced, Zelenskyy congratulated Trump, and the two leaders had a phone call.
