President-elect Donal Trump announced he intends to pick Kimberly Guilfoyle as a US official in Greece, according to the New York Times.

On Tuesday, Trump informed the media about his intention to appoint one of his loyalists, Kimberly Guilfoyle, as an American ambassador to Greece. This came at the same time as other tabloid speculations regarding Trump's eldest son and his new date, Bettina Anderson.

The New York Times states they were spotted together in Palm Beach, Florida, by paparazzi from British tabloid The Daily Mail, who posted the photos later claiming this is "incontrovertible proof the soon-to-be First Son has moved on” with a “stunning ‘it girl.’”

Both Donald Trump Jr. and Kimberly Guilfoyle, who have been engaged to each other since 2020, didn't give any official comments regarding this incident. Anderson also didn't respond to the request to comment on her recent relationship with Trump's eldest son.

While announcing Kimberly Guilfoyle's new appointment, Donald Trump referred to her as “a close friend and ally”. However, he didn't mention anything about her romantic relationship with his son. The speculations of a possible affair have not been receding for a few months, especially since the socialite Bettina Anderson was documented sitting behind Donald Trump Jr. while he was with his fiancée.

Controversial Trump's picks

Unfortunately, this is not the first time Trump has attempted to appoint one of his relatives for an important position. Previously he picked his daughter's father-in-law as Middle East adviser.
