Trump announces talks between Ukraine and Russia in Saudi Arabia to end war

US President Donald Trump has announced another round of talks between Ukrainian and Russian representatives aimed at ending the war. According to him, the meeting is set to take place in Saudi Arabia, according to a press conference at the White House on February 13.
President Donald Trump said that there would be high-level meetings held next week in Saudi Arabia among officials from the US, Russia, and Ukraine, as he works to come to an end to the war.
Trump previously did not rule out meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Saudi Arabia.
Trump's statements about war negotiations
Donald Trump had previously announced a meeting between representatives of Ukraine, Russia, and the US on February 14 at the Munich Security Conference.
However, the Office of the President of Ukraine denied the possibility of such talks, emphasizing that Ukraine would first negotiate with the US and Europe.
In Munich, a meeting between President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and US Vice President JD Vance has also been announced.
Western media reported that discussions with the Ukrainian delegation in Munich are expected to take place behind the scenes.
