US President Donald Trump has begun his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska. It will be held in a three-on-three format, according to the broadcast of their meeting.

Today in the city of Anchorage, Alaska, a meeting between Trump and Putin began. Initially, it was announced that it would be held in a one-on-one format. However, later statements appeared in the media saying that the format had been changed and it would take place in a three-on-three format.

On the American side, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and envoy Steve Witkoff are present at the meeting. They are seated next to Trump.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and aide Yuri Ushakov are seated next to Putin.

At the start of the meeting, neither Trump nor Putin made statements to journalists. In particular, media representatives mostly asked Putin whether he was ready for a ceasefire and whether he would commit to no longer killing civilians.

However, Putin did not answer these questions and only smiled.
