Trump about talk with Putin: We had a good conversation, but nothing has come of it yet

US President Donald Trump called his latest conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin "good," but noted that it hasn't brought any results yet, according to Trump’s remarks on the Pod Force One podcast.
The American president called Russia’s war against Ukraine "vicious." In his opinion, nothing like it has happened since World War II.
Commenting on his conversation with the Kremlin leader, Trump said that Putin "talked about what he wanted and talked about what he didn't want."
"We had a good conversation, but so far, nothing's come of it," the US president stated.
Conversation between Trump and Putin
The last time US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke was on June 4. This occurred just days after the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) carried out a historic attack on Russian airfields, damaging Russia’s strategic aviation.
Trump shared about his conversation with Putin on Truth Social, though he later deleted the post and reposted it without any changes.
According to the US president, Putin allegedly told him that he would be "forced to respond" to the Ukrainian attack that destroyed Russian aircraft.
Later, the Kremlin confirmed that Putin "warned" Trump about Moscow’s response.
