It's best to remove makeup before exercising so the skin can "breathe" and remain healthy.

Bacteria that we come into contact with in the gym are more likely to stick to makeup than to clean skin. As a result, bacteria will settle in the pores, leading to inflammation.

How to cleanse your skin before exercising

It is best to clean your skin before your workout to remove impurities and excess sebum. Afterward, moisturize with a light, hydrating cream.

Avoid heavy cosmetics, such as full-coverage foundations, as this will help reduce breakouts after exercise. It's also a good idea to bring a cleansing product with you to the gym to clean your face immediately after your workout.
