Three people were injured after a Russian strike on a residential building in Kyiv. Several dozen residents were evacuated, according to Ukraine’s State Emergency Service (DSNS).
"Russian forces struck a nine-story residential building in Kyiv’s Holosiivskyi district with a drone. The impact occurred between the eighth and ninth floors, causing a fire," the statement said.
Rescuers evacuated 25 people from the building.
The attack also sparked a fire covering 50 square meters, which firefighters later extinguished.

What happened before
Earlier, a nine-story residential building in Kyiv’s Holosiivskyi district was damaged in a Russian attack. Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said a fire broke out in the building, affecting floors four through nine.
The Kyiv City Military Administration initially reported that one person had been killed in the attack, but later clarified that the information was not confirmed.
Earlier today, Russian forces attacked Kyiv with drones. Debris from an enemy drone fell onto a roadway.
In addition, Russian forces attacked Kyiv on September 2, triggering a fire in the capital. Firefighters later extinguished the blaze in the Holosiivskyi district.
RBC-Ukraine also reported that Russian drones struck a warehouse building in Kyiv the previous day.
