Three children aged 8 to 17 killed in Zhytomyr region, over 10 injured, according to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES).

As a result of a Russian attack on the Zhytomyr region, three children — aged 8, 12, and 17 — were killed. Rescuers recovered the body of one of the children from the rubble.

According to the SES, 10 people were injured and eight others were rescued. All the injured have been hospitalized.

The attack resulted in the destruction and damage to private homes.

In the Berdychiv district, a five-story residential building, several private houses, and outbuildings were also reported damaged.

Among the injured are two more individuals, including one child.

Emergency services and Red Cross volunteers were working at the scene, providing psychological assistance to those affected.

A total of 45 rescuers and 10 units of equipment were involved in the response efforts.

Attack on Ukraine on May 25

During the night of May 25, Russian forces launched another massive airstrike on Ukrainian territory. The enemy used various types of missiles and kamikaze drones. This was the second large-scale attack in a row following the previous strike on the evening of May 24.

Explosions were reported during the night in several regions of the country — including Kyiv, Kharkiv, Konotop, Sumy, Ternopil, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Chernihiv, and Zaporizhzhia region.
