Healthy snacks will help to avoid feeling very tired and weak in the afternoon. The expert named the foods that should be eaten at noon for better health, reports The Mirror.

Why snacks are useful

It is important to eat balanced nutritious food that will give you energy for the whole day.

Nutritionist Anna Svard explained that to avoid being too tired at 3 p.m., you should prepare in advance.

In particular, a balanced lunch with lean protein, fiber-rich vegetables, and complex carbohydrates lays the foundation for constant concentration. Adding nutrient-rich snacks between 1:00 and 2:00 p.m. can help to reduce fatigue.

"Don't be afraid to snack - think of it as a tool for productivity and well-being. Snacks are not just a way to curb hunger, but also an opportunity to fuel your brain and body for maximum productivity," the expert added.

What products to choose

Fruit with nut butter is the best for snacks. You can also add a handful of nuts or seeds and protein bars.

Fruits with nut butter can be a particularly good choice for reducing the risk of health problems such as heart disease, stroke, and cancer.

It is recommended to eat at least 400 g of fruits and vegetables a day. One serving of fruit or vegetables is equal to 80 g.

When it comes to nut butter, the protein and fiber found in nuts can help you feel full and energized. Most of the fats in nuts are unsaturated, which can help stabilize blood sugar and insulin levels.

However, it is important to pay attention to the composition of products and whether they contain added sugars.
