There is every reason for a political invitation for Ukraine to join the Alliance at the Alliance's summit in July, said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

The President said that he is working together with his team to to make the decisions of the Vilnius Summit truly meaningful.
Ukraine's accession to NATO
Ukraine recognizes that it can only join NATO after the end of military operations. However, the country aims to obtain a political decision on support for its membership at the Alliance's summit in Vilnius, scheduled for July 11-12.
Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak said that Ukraine expects an invitation to NATO with an open date.
Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said that the country's expectations from the Alliance's summit have already been partially fulfilled.
Ukraine also seeks security guarantees from NATO members, which cannot serve as an alternative to membership. The Alliance is already considering several options for security guarantees for Ukraine.
