Dnipro developer Vadym Iermolaiev's project named finalist for prestigious architecture award

The residential complex Katerynoslavskyi I on the boulevard of the Ukrainian Volunteer Army in Dnipro has become a finalist for one of the most prestigious architectural awards — the Mies van der Rohe Award 2024, according to the press service of the architectural bureau FILIMONOV & KASHIRINA.
Moreover, it has been included in a special collection of the world's best architectural projects.
The project was created by the renowned architectural bureau FILIMONOV & KASHIRINA, founded by Dnipro businessman Vadym Iermolaiev.
The building impresses with its futuristic facade featuring overhanging and cascading elements, as well as an innovative energy-efficient lighting system that makes the complex easily recognizable even at night.
This project was featured in the collection of nominees for the Mies van der Rohe Award, published in December 2024, further cementing Ukrainian architecture’s presence on the international stage.
"We have finally received the printed collection of works — nominees for the Mies van der Rohe Award 2024. The copy is fresh, printed in December 2024. The object of the residential complex on Pivdennyi Boulevard was one of the contenders for this prestigious award. In May 2024, along with other nominees, we had the honor of attending the awards ceremony in Barcelona as part of the delegation from the National Union of Architects," wrote architect Nataliia Kashirina.
