In addition, according to the mayor's advisor, the local Russian occupation authorities not only recognized the hit for the first time but also reported that the building of the Russian occupiers' administration in the city was attacked.

“Also, in some districts, the power supply has disappeared, and the work of official budgetary bodies has been canceled,” Andriushchenko states.

Situation in Berdiansk

Berdiansk, Zaporizhzhia region, was occupied by Russian troops during Russia's large-scale invasion of Ukraine. After that, the Russians turned the city, along with Mariupol and Enerhodar, into a place where a large number of resources, both manpower and equipment, were concentrated.

Ukraine's Defense Forces continue to strike at Russian military targets in Berdiansk. For example, on October 12, explosions were heard in Berdiansk, Zaporizhzhia region. The Russians allegedly had air defense systems in operation.

In addition, the Ukrainian Defense Forces blew up a railway bridge in the temporarily occupied Berdiansk. It was a special operation of the local resistance movement and the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine. The Russian occupiers used this bridge to transport military cargo.
