Russian infantry does not stop attacking the Ukrainian military in the Tavria direction. At the same time, this does not prevent the Armed Forces of Ukraine from advancing in the Melitopol direction, according to Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, the commander of the Tavria Operational Strategic Group of troops.

"The enemy continues active ground infantry attacks with the support of armored vehicles and aviation in the operational area of the Tavria Operational Strategic Group of troops. In total, 49 combat encounters, 890 artillery shells, and 18 airstrikes were recorded," he says.

The general adds that at the same time, the offensive operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Melitopol direction continues. In addition, the Ukrainian military firmly holds the defense in the Avdiivka direction.

Russian Federation's losses in the Tavria direction

Over the day, the enemy lost 629 people in the Tavria direction. 44 units of military equipment were destroyed. In particular, the Murom-M remote visual surveillance complex. Also, 3 ammunition depots and 1 important object of the occupiers ceased to exist. Another 28 enemy vehicles were damaged.

"Also, our soldiers destroyed 3 tanks, 3 artillery systems, and 16 other armored vehicles. Among them 2C19 Msta-S and 6 BTR-82 armored personnel carriers," adds Tarnavskyi.

For comparison, Russia's losses in the war in Ukraine as of the morning of Friday, December 1, are 1,280 occupiers, the total number of losses of the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion is 330,040 troops. In addition, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed 13 tanks, 32 APVs, and 22 artillery systems.
