Ukrainian soldiers repelled more than 30 Russian occupants' attacks near Avdiivka in the Tavria direction over the last day. In addition, almost 500 Russian troops were eliminated in this area of the frontline, which is more than half of the total losses of the Russian Federation over the day, according to the Joint Press Center of the Tavria Defense Forces.

"In total, the enemy carried out 18 air strikes in the Tavria direction, conducted 38 combat engagements, and fired 985 artillery rounds," the statement says.

Avdiivka direction

The Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 15 attacks east of Novobakhmutivka, Avdiivka, and 17 attacks near Severne, PervomaIske, and Nevelske (Donetsk region).

Maryinka direction

Ukrainian soldiers continue to hold back the enemy in the areas of Maryinka and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region, repelling 3 Russian attacks.

Shakhtarsk direction

The Russians did not conduct any offensive (assault) actions.

Zaporizhzhia direction

Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 3 attacks west of Verbove and Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Russia's losses in the Tavria direction

Total enemy losses amounted to 488 Russians. About 20 occupants surrendered. For comparison, in total, the Ukrainian Armed Forces killed 920 Russian invaders on the frontline in Ukraine over the past day, bringing the total losses of Russian troops in Ukraine since the beginning of the large-scale invasion to about 356,670 troops. The Ukrainian Armed Forces also destroyed another 27 tanks and 15 artillery systems.

The enemy's total losses in military equipment amounted to 105 pieces of military equipment. In particular, 18 tanks, 28 armored personnel carriers, 13 artillery systems, 23 UAVs, 16 vehicles, and 7 units of special equipment. One ammunition depot was destroyed.
