Sweden to provide millions of euros for Grain from Ukraine
Sweden will provide financial assistance to Ukraine. The money will go to the Grain From Ukraine initiative, states the Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson.
The financial package amounts to SEK 100 million ( €8.7 million). The funds are earmarked for the Grain From Ukraine program implemented by the World Food Program. Under the program, Ukrainian grain and other food are exported to the poorest countries.
"Ukraine continues to contribute to global food security, despite Russia’s continuing war of aggression," reads the prime minister's message.
