Suspect in Ukrainian oligarch bombing found dead near Kyiv

The body of a woman suspected of plotting the attempted assassination of businessman Vadym Yermolaiev has been found near Kyiv. Investigators have also identified and detained two people allegedly linked to the case, according to Ukrainska Pravda.
Body found buried
According to the media, citing law enforcement sources, the woman's body was discovered at around 11:00 p.m. on July 6. It had reportedly been buried near Kyiv and showed signs of a gunshot wound.
The woman had previously been identified as the main suspect in the attempted assassination of sanctioned businessman Vadym Yermolaiev.
Two suspects detained
Sources said that investigators have detained two people allegedly connected to the case:
- an active officer of Ukraine's Defense Intelligence;
- a former law enforcement officer.
Authorities have not disclosed what role either suspect is believed to have played in the alleged assassination plot.
Earlier, businessman Vadym Yermolaiev emerged from a coma after surviving the attempt on his life.
Another suspect in the attempted assassination is currently being sought in Monaco.
