Strike on the Atlant Aero plant

On January 13, 2026, the Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out a missile strike on the Atlant Aero enterprise in Taganrog, Rostov region. Ukrainian-made missiles were used in the attack.

The facility carries out a full cycle of work — from design to production and testing — of Molniya-type strike and reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicles.

In addition, the plant manufactures components for Orion drones, which are used by the Russian occupation forces.

It is also worth noting that on January 11, the Defense Forces of Ukraine delivered precision strikes on facilities that supply the Russian army with energy resources, logistics, and air defense.

Three Lukoil drilling platforms in the Caspian Sea were hit, along with a Buk-M3 surface-to-air missile system launcher in the occupied territory of the Luhansk region, as well as a logistics and materiel supply depot of Russia’s 49th Army in the Kherson region.
