Following a complete military and economic victory over Iran, the United States is initiating the establishment of a new international security framework for the Strait of Hormuz, according to President Donald Trump.
New security framework
Donald Trump said that after the full defeat of Iran, countries receiving oil via the Strait of Hormuz should take responsibility for securing the route, with support from Washington.
"This should have always been a team effort, and now it will be — It will bring the world together toward harmony, security, and everlasting peace!" the US president emphasized.
He added that the United States will coordinate efforts with other nations to ensure the transit of resources to occur "quickly, smoothly, and well."
Trump also said Washington is ready to provide substantial assistance in organizing the protection of the strait. He believes this collective approach will be a key factor in stabilizing the global economy and energy supply.
Iran situation
Recently, US President Trump officially declared the complete destruction of Iran's military and economic potential.
He also rejected the possibility of any negotiations with Tehran, stating that it is already "too late" for dialogue.
At the same time, experts and analysts continue to debate the consequences of this escalation and whether the US military operation will ultimately succeed in reshaping security in the Middle East.
